The Weld Fume Extractor is a robust filter unit and offers many advantages for frequent use at changing work stations. Equipped with IFA-W3 certified two-stage filtering with increased filter surface, with a pre filter and a primary filter.
Construction, The durable steel housing is powder coated and hermetically sealed to ensure no air leaks.
Unique “Stay in Place” Arm, The unique “Stay-in-Place” Exhaust Arm swivels 360° to give welders an unmatched freedom of movement with very little effort. No sagging or movement of the arm like other units.
Filter Monitor for Increased Safety, An included filter monitor increases safety for welders and all other personnel. An alarm is activated when the airflow drops below safe limits, and alerts the user to change out the filters.
High Efficiency Filter, Unlike other welding collectors, the AAF Weld Fume Extractor is suitable for galvanized and stainless steel welding. The final filter has an initial efficiency of 99.5% on 0.3 microns and larger.
Hinged Door Access, Filter access is through the front of the OptiFlo RC via a round port hole for each pair of cartridges. The easy-access HINGED doors, allow for quick filter replacement without the need for other tools.
Integrated Control Panel is provided for quick on/off operation of the unit. Also included in the control is a fan speed controller, a green indication operating light and an internal filter monitoring alarm. The control is located on the front of the unit for easy access.
The Weld Fume Extractor is shipped factory assembled in major sub-assemblies. Field assembly of the wheels and welding exhaust arm will be required.

Wall/Ceiling Mounted: low vacuum systems intended for light to medium duty extraction and filtration of welding These exhaust arms have been developed for extracting hazardous fumes directly at the point of emission. Exhaust Arms are especially made for the extraction of welding smoke, gases, steams, slight dusts, and solvents.
The structure of the exhaust arm consists of an unique interior parallelogram linkage which is spring supported, a fiber-glass hose with a PVC coating, and an internal steel wire spiral.
Due to the parallelogram, the exhaust arm swivels 360º and can be brought in any desired direction without additional support.
The exhaust arms can be connected to our Mobile or Wall-mounted Exhaust Units, Wall-mounted Fans, as well as to ductwork of any of our Central Extraction Units (sold separately).

Downdraft Table: These welding downdraft tables have especially been developed for the handling of smaller metal work pieces.
The ergonomically, stable sheet steel construction and the robust material support enable a comfortable and save functioning.
A dust collecting drawer allows safe cleaning of the table. The welding downdraft table is available in different sizes and can be connected to Fans or a Central Extraction System.

Prewired from the factory, the table is designed to exceed 250 feet per minute of downdraft suction. Dirty air is run through a highly efficient cartridge filter and clean air is exhausted to the left of the workstation.
BUILT IN TRIPLE PROTECTION SPARK ARRESTOR
For applications that involve sparks, we have pre-engineered 3 levels of spark protection. The first layer is a built in drop out tray for heavy slag. The 2nd layer is a wrap around all but the bottom 20% of the cartridge. The 3rd layer is the cartridge filter that is treated with a fire retardant coating.
The cartridge filter is self cleaning at the push of a button with compressed air and effectively removes dust at 99.97% efficiency
